After rain washed out qualifying, Arpin came from the 22nd starting position to grab the win after the news that he will be making his NASCAR Nationwide debut next weekend at Talladega for JR Motorsports.
"This is a great, great racetrack," Arpin said. "We had a really good car all night, and Hoosier gave us a super good tire."
The victory, which came after suffering slight damage to the front of his No. 55 Venturini Chevrolet early in the race, was his second in 25 career starts.
"Billy Venturini (car owner) and the guys did an awesome job tonight," Arpin explained in victory lane. "We got ourselves in a touchy spot, spun, and the damage affected our aero a bit," Aprin continued. "The team did a great job repairing the car, and giving me a chance."
Craig Goess finished second to Arpin for the second consecutive week for his fourth career top five in 25 starts.
"It's great to run good, to run up front, but it's disappointing to be this close and not win," Goess said. "We had a little miscue in the pits, but I don't know whether we could have beat Steve tonight anyway.
Grant Enfinger, Justin Marks and Robb Brent rounded out the top five.
Marks led the most laps with 39.
Arpin now leads Marks by 10 in the series standings.
